The word Gibbor is Hebrew and means ‘Mighty man’. This ‘Mighty Man’ means to be strong, to win, to prevail and to obtain victory from a position of dominion. It also means to act insolently - this is to show a rude and arrogant lack of respect towards the enemy and his sinful ways.
