I purchased raw sheep skin vellum to create this art piece. I sat and looked for images within the vellum as I began to create this art piece and didn't approach this project with any preconceived vision in my head. I allowed God to show me images as if in clouds that were in the natural sheep skin vellum. First, I saw a sun and clouds at the top of the vellum. Then I becan to see the face of Christ with vines created by the sheep skin texture off to the side of the vellum. Then the profile of a horse in the rite corner seem to appear to me. I then saw eyes of a baby lamb and the eyes of a large sheep. It is important to know that I make none of these choices on my own as the images are already there waiting to be seen by me the artist to discover and paint.
