Pharaoh's Daughter Bracelet by Kathryn Lane Berkowitz

This bracelet was crafted with off loom, or needle-woven technique, using seed beads and ceramic scarab beads in hues of cobalt and sky blue, emerald, crimson and gold in a free-form peyote stitch design. This bracelet is 1 inch wide and will fit up to an 8.5 inch wrist. 
The inspiration for this piece is Pharaoh's daughter, who drew the infant Moses out of the water because she had compassion on him and unwittingly became a heroine of the Israelite people. The daughter of Pharaoh came down to bathe at the Nile, with her maidens walking alongside the Nile; and she saw the basket among the reeds and sent her maid, and she brought it to her. When she opened it, she saw the child, and behold, the boy was crying. And she had pity on him and said, “This is one of the Hebrews’ children. Exodus 2:5
